Today's Amazing Children

This year, the state of Florida presents "30 Days of Amazing Children:Explore Adoption!" - a statewide initiative featuring children in foster care who dream of being adopted by forever families. Every day during the month of November, unique "Amazing Children" available for adoption in Florida will be featured.

Shedna

Shedna enjoys talking and expressing herself. She loves to sing and dance and has stated that she wants to be a rock star someday. Shedna is also a very gifted writer and has written a few songs of her own. She likes to please other and will blossom in a family open to adding more children. Shedna would do well with parents who show her unconditional love and affection. It is important for Shedna that one parent be a positive female role model, and she would like to keep in contact with her older brother.

Favorite Food: Pizza, but not with spinach, olives or Jalapeno peppers.

Pet of Choice: Cat.

Favorite Things: Gregory likes to volunteer at the YMCA and with the Ecology Club. He also enjoys fishing and is a self-described nature lover. Aside from playing soccer and volleyball, Gregory has a passion for art--especially drawing--reading, listening to music and cooking.

Gregory's Perfect Day: Spending the day at the beach with close friends and family.

Favorite Music Group: The Black Eyed Peas.
